Margaret Ilene Crow, affectionately known as Peggi, passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on October 4, 2025, in Plano, TX. Peggi was born on July 29, 1943, in Worthington, MN, to Leona and Vernon Deuth.
Peggi was vivacious with a flair for all things stylish. She lived her life with joy and verve, always eager for an adventure or new experience. Naturally drawn to everything creative, Peggi graduated from the Dallas Fashion Merchandising College and went on to an exciting interior design career with Associated Air Center of Dallas. There, she worked on many high-profile projects for elite clients' private jets and helicopters throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
Peggi’s bright smile and sparkling blue eyes captivated Steve Crow, whom she married in 1978. Family was extremely important to Peggi, and she was a devoted mother to her two children, Stephen and Lauren. She dedicated her life to ensuring her family was happy, fulfilled, and loved beyond measure. Peggi had an incredible talent for decorating and celebrating special occasions. She transformed their home into an especially magical place during holidays and birthdays. Her generosity extended far beyond her family, as she donated her time and talents to various charitable causes, from organizing special luncheons for her church to supporting the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
Peggi is survived by her husband of 47 years, Steve Crow; two children, Stephen Blake Sodemann and his wife, Carmen of Walled Lake, MI; and Lauren Rosson Crow and her husband, Jeremy Eichenbaum of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters: Bonnie Chisum of Pelican Rapids, MN; Judy Martens of Sacramento, CA; Jayne Deuth of Erhard, MN; and one brother, Troy Deuth (Suzanne) of Miamisburg, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Kaye Frazier of Rosemount, MN.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1pm at the Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Parkinson’s Voice Project (ParkinsonVoiceProject.org), a Dallas-based organization that Peggi loved.
