Marilyn was a public speaker and a top-selling insurance agent. She took pride in her work and in the relationships she built along the way. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in gardening, quilting, and crafting. Some of her most treasured moments were spent creating special memories with her grandchildren through Grammie Camps and tea parties. She was also deeply involved in her church community, where she shared her love, friendship, and faith with those around her.
Above all, Marilyn loved the Lord, Jesus Christ. Her faith was at the center of her life and was reflected in the love she gave to her family, friends, and church community. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert King, and her parents, Carl and Elda Boyd.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Douglas Kreitling, Kelli Beveridge, Brett and Myna Beveridge, and Kendall and Ray Caprio; her stepchildren, Duane King and Lori and Jason Crumpton; her grandchildren, Karen Harwell, Keri Foster, Doug Kreitling, Haley Clem, Carson Whiting, Ian Crumpton, and Kara Caprio; and her great-grandchildren, Eli Clem and Case Clem. She is also survived by her sister, Jo Ann Gosson, along with many dear friends and extended family members who will cherish her memory.
Marilyn's life was a testament to faith, family, and love. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the faith she lived so fully will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Marilyn King at ALZ.org.
