Gordon Michael Landry Jr., beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 19, 2025, in Frisco, Texas. He was born on July 12, 1972, in Houma, Louisiana, to Gordon Michael Landry and Gloria Call Landry.
Michael graduated from Louisiana State University and went on to build a successful career as Vice President at Rent-A-Center. He lived with an adventurous spirit, often reminding his kids “Adventures don’t happen on the couch.” True to his words, he loved snowboarding, hiking, traveling,” bouldering” and charter fishing. He always loved a well-maintained yard and could often be seen walking through his neighborhood pulling weeds or trimming trees—not for himself, but for his neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Michael Landry. Michael’s greatest joy was his family. He shared 24 years of love and partnership with his wife, Kimberley Landry, and together they raised their two children, Madison (22) and Jack (18), who were his pride and drive behind all he did. He is also survived by his mother, Gloria Call Landry, his brothers Lee Landry (Donna), Brett Landry (Dayna), Craig Landry (Leslie), and Ronnie Landry, as well as many beloved brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael’s life was one of adventure, kindness, and love—a legacy that will live on in all who knew him.
