Michael Keith Mitchell was born in Houston, TX and at the time of his death, he resided in Frisco, TX. He lived in several different Texas cities as well as several in Illinois. At age 3, Mike quickly learned from his father how to pull pranks, and his mother always fell for them.

Upon graduation, he started his career in San Antonio doing research for two of his college professors at their consulting firm. From there, he moved to Dallas and was employed by Dallas Semi-Conductors which became Maxim.
Mike enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friend Keith and his uncle Bill, growing orchids and house plants, and collecting fossils and going on digs with his friend Karen. He enjoyed his gourmet supper club and throwing semi-annual crawfish boils. He traveled the world with his girlfriend Amy and close friends. Each year they would go to a different exotic location and enjoy the new and exciting things there.
Mike will be remembered for his kindness, dry sense of humor, and the love he had for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed and loved for all eternity.
