It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Morgan Taylor Williams, who departed this life on June 3rd, 2026. Morgan was born on September 17th, 1995, to her loving parents, Stephanie Shaffer and Larry Williams.
The sudden loss of Morgan leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She loved her son, Colt, more than anything else with all of her heart. He was the center of her whole world and her greatest source of pride and joy.
Morgan is survived by her beloved son Colt Walker, parents Stephanie Shaffer and Larry Williams, sister Lauren Shaffer, grandparents Marion and Richard Shaffer, bonus mom, Karen Simmons, blended siblings Matthew Simmons, Aubrey, and Kevin Ansel (brother-in-law), Jennifer Steffen, and Nikki Simmons. Along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Making people laugh was Morgan’s greatest gift. Her smile was infectious, and her presence could brighten the darkest day. She was a passionate and empathetic soul who cared deeply for those she loved and never hesitated to help others. Many lives were touched by her kindness, humor, and generous spirit, and she will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Morgan was an artist in the truest sense of the word. It didn't matter if she was drawing, painting, writing, or simply sharing her view of the world; she was a creative spirit all her own. She could fill a blank page with beauty and a vacant room with laughter; she had a radiant glow, unmatched wit, and a quirky personality that made her impossible to forget.
She had a special love of animals and a remarkable ability to connect with them. Morgan especially loved raising chickens and was fiercely devoted to her dog, Nugget. Her compassionate heart extended to every creature she encountered.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 19th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas 75033. In honor of Morgan, the family requests that guests bring their favorite stories, memories, and photographs to share and continue to support Colt with the legacy of his mother's love.
