Pebbles Michelle Debord

Pebbles DeBord lived a life defined by compassion, courage, creativity, and an unwavering desire to help others. Unassuming but fearless, she never hesitated to step in when someone needed her.

Pebbles had an extraordinary ability to step into difficult or uncomfortable situations and simply be there, making people feel safe, cared for, and understood.

Pebbles was an incredibly talented caregiver. People were comfortable with her almost immediately, even in moments that were difficult or uncertain. Her warmth and compassion connected her with people in a way that was rare and deeply meaningful. She shared that gift professionally as a beloved medical assistant in several dermatology offices, where she cared for patients with the same kindness and dedication that she brought to every part of her life.

Her love extended to animals as well, especially cats, dogs, and horses. One of her favorite places to volunteer was ManeGait, where she assisted patients participating in equine therapy. There, her love of horses and her desire to help others came together in a way that was especially meaningful to her.

Pebbles also cherished the simple beauty of friendship. She loved visiting with friends, especially on patios and big porches—sharing conversation, laughter, stories, and the moments that make life memorable. She treasured the people in her life and formed friendships that lasted for many years.

Her creativity was another beautiful reflection of who she was. Pebbles saw the world and the people around her in full color. She noticed beauty, found meaning in it, and brought what she saw to life through her paintings and drawings. Her spirit animal was the fox, and she often sketched and painted the Japanese Kitsune—a fox spirit able to take on human form and, through many lifetimes of wisdom, gain nine tails. —Its symbolism resonated with her own spirit: intelligence, determination, transformation, and wisdom.

Pebbles was incredibly smart and fiercely determined. She approached life with strength and an independent spirit, but beneath that determination was a tender heart that cared deeply for others.

Pebbles leaves behind a legacy of kindness that cannot be measured simply by the years she lived, but by the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her father, Jake; her sister, Suzanne; her nephews, Sean and Eli; her niece, Willow; her husband, Bryce; and her many long-term friends who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Those who knew Pebbles will remember her courage, her remarkable compassion, her creative spirit, her love of horses, her beautiful friendships, and the unmistakable way she made people feel cared for.

She saw beauty in the world and gave some of that beauty back to all of us.

Her memory will remain—in the people she helped, the animals she loved, the friendships she cherished, and the art she created.

Pebbles was one of a kind. She was deeply loved, and she will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life memorial service on Thursday, August 27, 2026, 2pm, at Stonebriar Funeral Home located at 10375 Preston Rd., Frisco, TX 75035.
