With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the homegoing of Perry Jean Armato, who left her earthly home on September 27, 2025, to enter her eternal rest in the presence of her Savior.
Perry was born on November 12, 1943, to Perry and Riner Brown. A woman of deep faith, boundless love, and incredible strength, she touched countless lives through her work, her prayers, and her unwavering belief that with God, all things are possible.
Perry's journey of education and purpose began with a high school diploma, followed by a two-year degree from Capital City Business College. Her desire to grow and serve others led her to further her studies at Memphis State and UALR, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.
She began her career with Dassault Industries as an executive secretary, but her heart called her to pour into the lives of others more personally. She transitioned into teaching young students—a vocation she adored—and eventually found her true calling in ministry. Perry and her beloved husband, Allen, ministered to married couples, offering guidance, healing, and restoration through prayer and the wisdom of God’s Word.
Perry was a mighty prayer warrior, known for her compassion, wisdom, and her unwavering trust in the Lord. Whether she was praying for a stranger or sitting at the table with her family, Perry radiated the love of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Riner Brown; her brothers, Julius and Thaddius; and her sisters, Jeffrey Russell and Evelyn Lewis.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 58 years, Allen I. Armato, and four beloved children: Lisa, Luigia, Brigitte, and Adrienne. Perry also leaves a host of dear friends whose lives she enriched through her kindness, laughter, and prayer.
Perry deeply cherished her time with family. She loved cooking meals that brought everyone together—good food, warm conversations, and her wonderful desserts made family gatherings special. She was always planning the next adventure, and her most recent dream was to travel to Spain for the Running of the Bulls.
