Mr. Amerson was a native of Atlanta, GA and son of the late Ralph Waldo Amerson and the late Donna Camp Amerson. He was a graduate of Norcross High School and attended Georgia State University. He was a district manager for Academy Sports + Outdoors.
He is survived by his two sons, Ryan Amerson and Nathan Amerson, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers and sisters in law.
A service celebrating Wally will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home officiated by Jon Reed with eulogist Jackie Camp.
