2/18/1960 - 7/26/2024
Randy Paul Wolf, of Melissa, Texas, passed away and was welcomed into Heaven on July 26, 2024, in Plano, Texas, surrounded by family and prayer.
Randy was born on February 18, 1960, in Salem, Oregon, to Elmer and Anita Wolf. He was a Christian, a veteran, a husband, and a stepfather. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine, as well as in the Army National Guard and the United States Army. In 1999, he married his wife Debra while his military service stationed them in many locations across the country throughout their marriage. Randy was deployed and served a tour of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2010 as part of the United States Army “Pacesetters” 541st Division Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. He served until honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant from the United States Army in February 2011. Randy retired with his wife Debra in Melissa, Texas where he went back to school and earned his master’s degree in accounting. He also worked part-time driving for Lyft where he cherished opportunities to share his testimony and the gospel of Jesus Christ with many others. Randy’s passion for sharing his faith was modeled throughout his life, even to the end where he shared his faith with the medical staff and doctors aiding him through his health issues. Above all, he considered himself a “warrior for Christ” and is now at peace with his Creator and personal Savior.
Randy is survived by his sister, Bonnie (Andy) Scott, stepsons Andrew (Libby) Denniston, Daren (Shannon) Denniston, Chris (Jill) Denniston, and 4 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 24 years Debra Wolf, parents Elmer and Anita Wolf, and sister Carleen Wolf.
A private memorial service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery to honor Randy Wolf's life and military service.
