I met Rodger last year working at “The Realm”. I work for North Texas Contracting and I was doing the concrete on that job. Rodger and I be came friends very quickly. The summer was hot like it always is in Texas. I came in to his trailer around noon and we would sit and talk about the up coming work everyday, but one morning he explain to me what he was going through and why he had a cover over his head. I simply explain to him that I knew what he was going through. My father had cancer 2 x’s and how I take care of him everyday by checking on him. He would say “Joe, you’re and good man and a good son”. It means a lot to me when he said that. We would sit down and he would offer me a drink out his fridge and asked me to get him one “Hey Joe get me a Gatorade will ya? The orange one. Those are mine. “ He showed me what it is to be a hard worker and to be honest with the people you work with and to always put family first. He mentioned about going on a vacation with his family and he knew it might be the last one he was going on with his whole family. It meant a lot to him. I’ll never forget the smile and his gentle look he would give me when we talked and the handshake after every conversation. What a guy and what a friend!

Rodger was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a huge asset to his company and those with whom he worked.
He leaves a legacy of beautiful, well-constructed projects and trained personnel.
Rodger will be affectionately remembered but sadly missed.

Rodger was a very sweet guy. We worked together at Andres. We were the first generation, as Kenny called the ones that started when the company was founded. Rodger will be missed. May the Lord be with each of his family and friends as they go down this road without him.

There is no denying the love Rodger had for Nancy. He stepped in and stepped up. He did everything he could to give Nancy the life she deserves. I will forever be grateful to him for that. Rest In Peace Rodger. I know you will continue to look out from above for the beautiful blended family you and Nancy created.

Rodger was a great guy, a leader, and owned that quality when he's talking - you listen!
Sad to hear this news, but rest easy Rodger.
Might be a little unprofessional, but this Crown Reserve bottle is for you.
