As a child, he was always helpful and caring of others, and these characteristics would carry into his adult life. Sandro was a very lovable and caring big brother to Juan, Jr. & Christopher. He loved his brothers and family.
Sandro’s mother, Irma, always referred to him as her “chulo,” while his friends call him "Dro". His smile could light up a room. He was a kind soul, very respectful and helpful to others. He was loved by many, and had a multitude of friends. Sandro was a sincere, kind, loving, smart young man .
Sandro graduated from Duncanville High School and attended Brookhaven College. He worked in restaurant management for most of his life, which sparked his passion for cooking, fine cuisine and watching any and all cooking shows on t.v. Sandro enjoyed action movies and loved to listen to all types of music, including hip-hop and rap. Sandro also loved to travel. He had enjoyed adventures to Spain, Holland, Germany, Argentina, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
By far his greatest love was sports--all sports. He was a fanatic in the true sense. He would watch Sports Center and know all the latest statistics for any sport, including basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, tennis, golf. but his all-time favorite sport was football. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. If the Cowboys were playing in any stadium, he’d be there, cheering them on. His favorite place, of course, was AT&T Stadium, but he had been to Cowboy games, coast to coast, including New York City, Chicago and Oakland. His love for sports also spurred his other passion of shopping and collecting tennis shoes, especially Nike Jordan's.
