I am stunned and saddened by the news of the departure of our beloved Sanjay. I first met Sanjay in Kuwait in August 1996, when we visited my sister and family in Kuwait. His love, care, and affection allured our hearts.when he moved to New Jersey, he stayed with us for a few months. His passion, respect, and love towards my family and me were remarkable, and we will always cherish the sweet memories of him.

Dear Nisha and Ryan, remember you are not alone; your family and friends are here to walk through these dark times with you. Our heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences on Sanjay's loss, the beloved husband of Nisha and the dearest Dad of Ryan. Nisha, your sacrificial care, love, and respect to Sanjay throughout the years were exceptional.

Death takes the body, and God takes the soul. Our minds hold the memories. Our heart keeps the love, and Our faith let us know that we will meet again!

Sanjay was full of life. He was friendly and caring. He would make you feel welcome and comfortable in social gatherings whether he was hosting that party or not. My memory of him takes me to Nick’s annual bbq party when I attended for the first time. Sanjay was full of energy. I then got to spend more time with him again in the Bahamas. I fondly remember our conversations that would lead until the late hours of the night. He will be very much missed.

It is a shocking news.... We were very close when I worked in Healthfirst during 2008 & 2009. He was very very helpful. I moved back to India in 2014 but we were in touch till 2018. Honestly.... Somehow I was thinking about Sanjay couple of weeks and also recalled him when I saw the book his father gave me. I know Nisha also very well and stayed at home one night and she was very nice to me. I met his parents once and his father gave me a devotional book about Gayatridevi. His father told me about Shirdi SaiBaba miracles happened to them and aske me to be faith in SaiBaba.

My deep condolences to Nisha and Sanjays family. Nisha, please do not forget to share your number. I want to talk to you.

Thanks
Adi

Mr. Sanjay Aswani has various nick names (papu, papri, papan) by his dear ones, I call him Papu Mama.

Papu Mama is best described as an incredible family man. He had one goal - to make his family and friend's lives better. What all he did in his life was to ensure his loved one's had better quality of living and enjoy finer things in life. He hustled through difficult situations but put on brave and smiling face everytime in front of others. He has heart of a warrior.

Papu Mama was always enthusiastic about special occasions and family gatherings. To name few memories involving me - meeting at arrival and departure halls at airports, my 1st day in USA, celebrations of birthdays/anniversaries/festivals, long drives on East Coast, his interview and 1st day of work in corporate world, Rayan's birth and 1st birthday celebration, Nana & Nani 50th anniversary, my graduation. He treated me as his son and a friend, he moulded my career and personality, taught me how dress up and be confident in face of adversities. He also taught us the meaning of celebrating life together as a family. People are travellers, but memories stays forever. He is truly a mentor and role model for us, we are fortunate to have him in our life.

It is often said that we come in this world empty handed and will leave from this world empty handed. In Papu Mama's case, we can proudly say that he came to this world with bit of his destiny and strong will power to survive and thrive, and he left this world with his name and love and blessings of dear ones. He has left us physically after making this world a happier place, and will always be in our hearts. He must be in heaven and looking at us from there, would kindly request you to stay strong and put on brave and smiling face for him. It's easier to say than do it.

Mr. Sanjay Aswani has various nick names by his dear ones, he will always be my one and only Papu Mama.

Hari Om, Om Sai Ram.
