Steven Lee Schellenger Jr.

Steven Lee Schellenger Jr. passed away on March 12, 2026, in Lewisville, Texas. He was born on December 8, 1974, in Sodus, New York. Steven’s life was defined by deep love, quiet passions, and unwavering devotion to those closest to him.

Steven found joy in the simple things that brought people together. He loved sports, especially football and proudly cheering for the Buffalo Bills, as well as baseball and the Texas Rangers.

He had a strong interest in politics and was an avid reader, always eager to learn and engage with new ideas.

In the kitchen, Steven was adventurous and creative, delighting in trying new recipes—never written down, always made from the heart.

He adored his three dachshunds and took great pleasure in caring for Sienna’s guinea pigs.

Above all else, Steven loved his daughter Sienna more than anything. Being her biggest supporter and watching her swim over the past 17 years was one of the greatest joys of his life.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Sienna; his former spouse, Elizabeth; his mother, Margaret Martin Schellenger; and his brother, Jonathan Schellenger (Cristin), all of whom will honor his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Lee Schellenger Sr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, honoring Steven’s life and the cause close to his heart.

The service is scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at 11:30 AM, and will take place at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco.
