Tammy Rae Randolph, 60, of Frisco, Texas, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on September 7, 2024. One of her biggest wishes was to be back in her home rather than in a care facility or hospital. Tammy was born on April 29th, 1964, in Coeur’d Alene, Idaho to Diane Wilma Rininger and Gary Ronald Rininger.
Tammy Rae Randolph was incredibly involved with her family and her top priority was always to take care of everyone else first. Even when encouraged to do otherwise. She had earlier life goals to become an actress, children’s author, or an interior designer. As a child her hobbies included playing the clarinet, running, acting, volleyball, and writing short stories. Tammy and her husband Robert met for the first time in the summer of 1984 in Fort Hood, TX. Just one year later, they married on August 5th, 1985, in Belton, TX. Tammy was a dedicated United States Veteran who served for a total of 10 years in the Army and 4 years in the Navy. Here she received several medals in Good Conduct, National Defense, Professional Development, Achievement, and Accommodation. In 1995, Tammy earned multiple Director’s List recognitions from ConCorde Career Institute including a Certificate of Merit for Clinical Laboratory, Limited X-ray I, Health and Disease II, Administrative Systems, Fundamentals, and Perfect Attendance. She received an associate’s degree from Hodges University, where she achieved multiple accomplishments including making it on the Dean’s List. She prioritized being timely, efficient, and intentional for every activity she pursued. Her love language was acts of service, gift giving, and quality time. Some of her favorite activities included preparing for family gatherings, reading Agatha Christie books, going to the movies, online shopping, decorating the house for Thanksgiving and Christmas, cooking, and getting her hair and nails done.
Tammy was always prepared for every holiday as well as every major and minor life moment. She loved to receive flowers and had a sweet tooth for Hershey’s chocolate. Her favorite life memories included marrying Robert, watching her children grow up, and becoming a grandparent. Things that made her laugh included goofy dances, family jokes or stories, emojis, and gifs. She enjoyed peaceful moments in the backyard while watching the neighbors tree move with the wind. Her all-time favorite vacation destination was O’ahu, Hawaii because of the incredible luau she attended, along with the helicopter tour where she explored the island with her husband. In February of 2023, she was able to attend the Cody Johnson concert in Austin, TX, where she got to hear one of her favorite songs, 'Til You Can’t.’ Tammy would often be described as witty, comical, charming, sassy, thoughtful, and someone who never gives up. Especially while battling through Cancer. She was always able to find light in difficult situations and knew how to make everyone feel valued and considered. She could break the ice in any room, even one full of strangers. Some of her goals prior to passing included being able to celebrate her 60th birthday and to visit Ireland or Greenland. Tammy was a loving daughter, mother of four children, sister to her 3 siblings, close friend, and warrior. She would want to make sure that others learned from her to be kind, stand up for themselves, be selfless, and a good listener. She was a hero, an inspiration, and a major figure in the lives of her loved ones. Tammy had a very special way of bringing everyone together. She was always there even when she wasn’t right in front of you. Her life was impactful and will continue through the unconditional love she shared along with her beautiful memory. As per her wish, she passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side.
