

Tim grew up in Amarillo, TX as the middle of three children. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1981 and attended West Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He worked for FedEx for 18 years and also owned a painting business. Tim married Laura on July 13, 1985 and they were married for 35 years. In his free time he loved to golf but painting and remolding homes was his true passion. He truly loved making things look beautiful. He enjoyed the beach, he always knew the best places to eat, and he absolutely loved his recliner.
His friends always referred to him as “Timmy” and his cousins from Colorado coined the name “Timo from Texas” He loved action packed movies, 80s Rock & Roll, and Country music. He was a kind and loving man who had such a sense of humor he could always make you laugh and leave you with a smile.
Tim is survived by his mother and father, Dorothy and Elias Urias of Amarillo, TX, his wife, Laura Urias of Frisco, TX, his son and daughter-in-law Aaron Urias and Brooke Bailey of McKinney, TX, his twin daughters Annie and Alyssa of Frisco, TX, his granddaughter Isabella Urias of Frisco, TX, and his siblings Lori and husband Phil Marcks of Lewisville, TX, and Tammy and husband Alex Alvarado of Corinth, TX along with their families.
