Born in Saigon, Vietnam on October 22, 1967, Tung came to America with his mother and fellow siblings at the young age of 7 with hopes of beginning a new life filled with opportunity and freedom. He attended Winn Elementary, Blanton Elementary, Pearce Jr., LBJ High School, and Collin Community College. Being the technology-savy person he was, Tung received an associates degree in Computer Technician/Mechanics.
Tom loved his fair share of Korean Drama (K-Drama) shows, video games, and most importantly his daughters. He was fierce and adamant about the love he had for all of his daughters.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ba Van Duong.
Tom is survived by his daughters: Judy Stevens, Amanda Shadle, Angel Duong, Michelle Duong, and Mindy Duong; sisters, Thuy Tran, Thanh Duong Biehl; brother, Tho Duong; and mother, Loan Thuy Vo.
