Born December 6, 1986, Tyler graduated from Hebron High School and attended the University of North Texas and the University of Oklahoma. He built a successful career in sales, working twelve years at FedEx and most recently three years at SAP, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Tyler was known for his steady presence, genuine kindness, and quick wit that could light up any room. He made people feel seen and valued and was someone others could always count on. An avid golfer, he found joy on the course and in time spent with family and close friends.
A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Tyler lived his faith with sincerity and humility. He loved the Lord wholeheartedly, found joy in worship, and often spoke of heaven with anticipation. His greatest desire was for others to know Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Shannon Nelson; children, Mila (7), Max (4), and Miller (1); parents, Donnetta and Gary Nelson; sister, Whitney Nelson; brother, Drew Nelson and wife Makenzie; nephew, Paxton Nelson; and his in-laws, Shelly and Dewayne Stewart, and sister-in-law, Shea Stewart.
