Catherine Steed Hall Kirby

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Prospect Hill Cemetery with Pastor Jim Bunce officiating.

Mrs. Kirby was born May 8, 1911 in Waterlick a daughter of the late William and Mary Steed Hall.

Mrs. Kirby was predeceased by husbands, Aubrey V. Steed and Thomas Kirby, of Front Royal. She was an active member of Marlow Heights Baptist Church. Catherine’s church and family meant everything to her. She was a devoted wife.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Maude Hall Boyer, Elizabeth Hall Jenkins, Lennis Hall Wakeman, and Mary Steed; and her brothers, Marvin Hall, Harold Hall, Dalton Hall, and John E. Hall.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home.
