Charles Kenneth Wagner

Charles Kenneth Wagner, age 86, of Front Royal passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Wagner was born in McClure, PA on January 5, 1929, a son of the late Charles F. and Gertrude Weader Wagner. He was the Vice-President for Engineering and Maintenance at Avtex Fibers. He had been a member of the Lions and Kawanis clubs. He enjoyed collecting movies. He was Baptist by faith.

Mr. Wagner is survived by his son, Richard Wagner (Louisa) of West Chester, OH; his daughters, Barbara Koerner (Peter) of NC, Susan DeHart (Tony) of Radford, and Linda Linger of Front Royal; his grandchildren, Jared Wagner (Cara), Alaina Wagner, Sarah Koerner, Matt DeHart, Andrew DeHart, Brian Linger (Anzie), Heather Wilson (Drew), Amanda Bass (Nick) and Kevin Linger; and his great grandchildren, Noah Wagner, Ava Wagner, Caitlyn Wagner, Emma Wagner, Avery Bass, Caroline Wilson, and Patrick Linger.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wagner was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn June Wagner in 2011; and his sister, Maye Wertz.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jared Wagner, Matt DeHart, Andrew DeHart, Brian Linger, Drew Wilson, Nick Bass and Kevin Linger.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
