Dorothy Mae Ellis

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Marlow Heights Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Bunce officiating. Burial will follow in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Upperville.

Dot was born on April 17, 1920 in Fauquier County a daughter of the late Smith and Emma Jean Ellis Sisk. She was a homemaker who enjoyed ceramics and was very active in the Marlow Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Smallwood of Manassas; her brother, Leroy Sisk of Winchester; her sisters, Peggy Sisk and Betty Gray both of Luray; her seven grandchildren, Gary Smallwood, Billy Ellis, Debbie Gibson, Chad Ellis, Michelle Jares-Ellis, Brent Ellis and Geoffrey Smallwood; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren
