Fred Carles Terry

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, 1200 N. Shenandoah Ave., Front Royal, VA 22630. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Terry was born in Crab Orchard, WV on October 10, 1944 a son of the late Denia Terry. He was a concrete truck driver for La Farge North America. He was an avid golfer and a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Hinzman and husband David of Beckley, WV; his companion of over 20 years, Catherine Fisher of Germantown, MD; his brothers, Julius Adkins and Lewis Adkins; his sister, Wanda Adkins; his grandchildren, Jeremy Bradley, Dana Bradley, Rebecca Bradley, and Samuel Cruz; and his great-grandson, Ayden Miller.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Gardner Adkins; and his sister, Sarah Rakes.
