Martha Shrader Robinson

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester.

Mrs. Robinson was born on March 23, 1933 in Burkes Garden, a daughter of the late Charlie and Myrtle Virginia Burress Shrader. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge 829 and was Pentecostal by faith.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Delton M. Robinson, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Kodak, TN, Glenn B. Robinson and wife Cheryl and Philip W. Robinson all of Front Royal; her daughters, Carolyn Perry and husband Billy, Pamela Slate and husband Butch, and Jeanie Robinson and husband Mark all of Front Royal, her brother, George Marvin Shrader; her sisters, Betty Lynn Huff and Linda Kidwell; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and special care giver, Donna Barrington.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Delton Mack Robinson, Sr. in 2011; her brothers, Charles and Bobby Shrader; and her sisters, Geraldine Jenkins and Freda Shrader.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Williams, Erick Robinson, Britton Robinson, Jeromie Robinson, Arther “BJ” Slate, III, Christopher Martin and Devin Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Sutton, George Shrader, Jr., Victor Kidwell, Raymond Jenkins, Bobby Huff, Arther Slate, II, Hank Fisher, Mark Robinson and Billy Perry.
