Marvel Roberts Jackson

Stone was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Markham, VA. She was a member of the choir and served on the usher board.

Stone leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband James, they were married April 3, 1970. They were blessed with 8 children, 4 sons, James Jr. “Mick” (Sharon), Larry (Monica), Michael (Irene), Daniel “Danny” (Tina). 3 daughters, Shirl (Timmy), Tracy, & Stacy (Brooks). Stone also had the pleasure of helping raise one nephew, Anthony “Cooter” Roberts. 3 nieces Robin, Bootsie and Trish. She had 4 sisters Bernice, Joan, Joyce and Darlene. 1 brother Jackie Roberts. Stone had 22 grandchildren, Timmy, Nathaniel, Daniel, Zachary, Michael, Christopher, Isaiah, Avery, Jasmine, Destiny, Tiffany, Serenity, Trinity, Inayah, Iyanah, Jahmara, Jahmaree, Kennedy, Felicia, Layanah, Trina, and Alexis. 2 aunts Velia Porter and Irene Summer. A host of nieces and nephews cousin and friends.

A very special niece Debbie Shanks. Special friends Bessie Mae, Sophie, Lottie, Estelle, Flora, Nellie, Daphie, Mary Grisby and Josphine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Roberts, 1 daughter Sandy Jackson, 1 grandson Larry Jackson Jr. 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
