Mary Anna Travis

Mary was born March 19, 1933 in Charlestown, WV. She was the first of four children born to Frank James and Margaret Virginia Ashby. She gave her heart to the Lord at an early age.

She attended Mt. Nebo Baptist Church where she served as Spiritual Leader of the Pastoral Ministry, Missionary Ministry, Deaconess Ministry, Usher Ministry and also sang in the choir.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Denise Folks (Henry); her son, Evang. Bernard Robinson, Jr.; two brothers, James Ashby and William Ashby; five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; two step-sons, Rev. Harrison Williams (Glenda) and Kevin Travis; and a very special friend, Leslie Gallop.
