Obie Frankie Franklin Carter Jr.

A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Shenandoah Memorial Park with Reverend Mark Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home.

Frankie was born in Front Royal on June 29, 1939 the son of the late Obie Franklin Carter, Sr. and Frances Licklider Carter. He was an investigator for the DMV. He was a member of and attended Riverton United Methodist Church. He had been a volunteer fireman for Front Royal and a member of the Lions Club. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Frankie is survived by his sons, Timothy Carter and wife Dawn of Lanham, MD and Christopher Carter and wife Marjorie of Reva; his five grandchildren, David Slaton, Hannah Carter, Jonathan Carter, Cameron Carter, and Emma Carter.
