Marc Duane Halvorson

Marc Duane Halvorson, age 68, of Fruitland passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at home in Fruitland. Marc was born April 12, 1950 in Portland, OR to Tom and Rosemary Halvorson. He was raised and attended schools in Portland.

He served a total of 22 years in the United States Army and National Guard. He retired from long haul truck driving. Marc loved animals, enjoyed camping, hiking, swimming, rodeo, riding, and horses. His favorite place to be was Rockaway Beach, Oregon. He was a loving husband and father.

Marc is survived by his wife Barb; three sons Joe, Jeff, and Shane; three grandchildren Joann, Callie, and Nancy; five great grandchildren Jennifer, River, Reagan, Aiden, and Ella Kate; a brother Eric; three step children Karri, Bobby, and Joshua; 12 step grandchildren; and cousins John and Arlene. His parents Tom and Rosemary; a sister Paula; and a brother Alan, preceded him in death.
