To the Korthals Family, It's Barb Korthals Travis in Platte, SD. I did not know of Marcella's passing until recently. What a beautiful obituary. I LOVED the part where she met Mason through my dad, Herman Korthals!! I did not know that. My mom, Thelma, is in a Care Center. Sincere sympathy to the entire family. Barb and Tom Travis

Dear Mary,
I'm thinking of you and your family. I'm glad you were there at the time of your mother's passing. I have fond memories of sometimes riding the bus home with you after school, of eating apples freshly picked from your apple trees and accompanying you on piano during your clarinet solos. Your mom and dad were so welcoming.
