Allan Michael Renner 73, a resident of Loveland, CO. passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021. Al was born on August 29, 1948 to Richard and Clara (Jantzer-Fadness) Renner, in Richardton, ND.
Al was an NDSU Physical Education graduate and life-long alma mater fan. He was an expert carpenter, a beautiful singer, part-time aspiring musician (through a local entertainment band and at church), a long-time kids’ sports coach, and the State Deputy for the WY Knights of Columbus during his life in Casper, WY. In 2003 he became the retail shop owner of Craftsmen in Leather (and online clothes model) in Estes Park, CO, and was a founding member of the Estes Park Chamber of Commerce.
He was an avid sports fan (CO Rockies, any football, and NDSU hockey)! He loved to travel and experience life. He was a people-person and a conversationalist. He loved history and learning about anything new (or old) - and because of his generous nature, he was always excited to share these findings with anyone who cared to hear.
He is survived by his loving partner Patricia Green, his children: LeAnn McCollum (Randy), Stacey Carpenter (Mark), and Matthew Palden Renner (Dorothy); his five grandchildren: Shiloh McCollum; Cody McCollum and Kylie McCollum, Clara Carpenter, Samuel Carpenter; his six siblings: Kenneth Renner (Judy A.), Donald Renner (Judith B.), Richard Renner (Cheryl), Doug Renner (Sandy), Deborah Raknerud (Darrel), and Charles Renner (Lea Ann) – who will all miss his laugh, strong hugs, and abundantly joyous personality.
