

Angelina Grace Montalbano, 93, of Loveland died on October 6, 2010 at the Pathways Hospice Unit at McKee Medical Center. She was born on November 10, 1916 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Joseph and Amelia (DeFiore) DiProspero. On June 12, 1948, she married Paul Montalbano in Westfield, NJ. She was a former resident of Scotch Plains, NJ, where she was also a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW. While living in Scotch Plains, she was an active member and volunteer at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. Angie and Paul moved to the Good Samaritan Village in Loveland in 2006 to be closer to their immediate family. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Loveland. Paul and Angie loved to travel and dance and were masters at doing the ""jitterbug"". Angie's hobbies were sewing, knitting, and playing cards. She was an excellent Italian cook and her meals will be missed. She loved spending time with her family and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; a sister, Theresa DiProspero; and brothers, Mario and Anthony DiProspero. She is survived by a son, Paul Montalbano; a daughter, Michele (Tim) Lucas; grandchildren, Corey Lucas and Colleen Lucas and her fiance, Adam Caver; and brothers, Joseph (Lillian) DiProspero and Nicholas DiProspero. The family extends their gratitude to the staffs at the Medical Center of the Rockies and Pathways Hospice for the excellent service and care they provided for Angie. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland. Interment was held at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins.
