Arline Boyes

Her story began on January 29, 1932 in the small town of Wray, Colorado when she was born to Raymond E. and Dorothy Burge. Arline started out as little sister to Sally and became big sister to Raymond Jr. 6.5 years later. She loved living in Wray and met her lifelong sweetheart, Walter H. Boyes, while in school there. They were married in Wray on June 04, 1950 and welcomed two children, Cindy and Curt. In 1954, the family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado where their third child, Colleen, was born. Arline was a homemaker and hairdresser by trade and owned beauty shops in Fort Collins, Loveland and Estes Park. Her greatest accomplishment was her family and she was there for us at all times.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dorothy; siblings Sally and Ray; daughter Colleen; and her beloved husband, Walt. She leaves behind her daughter, Cindy (Gina); son, Curt (Susan); six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Arline's Life will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024 at 1pm. A Graveside Service and Light Reception will follow. Treasured memories of Arline and words of condolence for her family are welcome at resthavencolorado.com.
