Barbara Ann Kahler

Barbara was born December 13, 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joseph & Ruth Matejicka. Barbara was a devoted wife, an amazing mother, and wonderful grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family, camping in the Summer, a good game of cribbage, the daily crossword puzzle and crypto cipher.

She was a lover of animals and took any opportunity to adopt many over the years as her family. She was an excellent cook, and she loved doing it anytime the opportunity arose. Barbara was a very kind and loving woman who radiated love & brilliance. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Geoff Kahler of Fort Collins; her son, Josh Mok and Nikki Collins; daughter Abigail Gray, her husband Jon Gray, & grandson Julius Gathercole; her daughter Christy McGinn, husband Daniel McGinn, & granddaughter Kylie; daughter Heather Kahler. Barbara is also survived by her brother Robert Matejicka & his wife Jan Matejicka; her brother Stephen Matejicka & his wife Pat Matejicka; her sister Beth Sieben and partner Paul Soleski; and her sister Joy Doggett & husband Ray Doggett.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Ruth Matejicka.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday July 8, 2019 at 10 am to be held at Faith Church (3920 S Shields St, Fort Collins 80526).
