Charles and Betty resided in the York area and were the owners of Rauch Industrial Woodworking, until retiring in 1970.
After retirement, they moved to Evergreen and enjoyed living in the Colorado Rockies. As the winters seemed to get colder, they decided to try living in a warmer climate and moved to Scottsdale, AZ. After 10 years in the desert, they decided to move to Fort Collins to be closer to their 3 children.
Betty was an active member of the City Park Nine Hole Ladies Golf Group until having to give up the sport due to arthritic knees, at the age of 87. Her other hobbies included reading, knitting, sewing, tending to her tomato garden and watching sports on the television, especially the Colorado Avalanche and the Rockies.
She was a homemaker in the true sense of the word, spending endless hours tending to her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all but be welcomed back by her loving husband on the day of their 74th Wedding Anniversary.
