

Bonnie Lea Crockett went to be with our Lord Jesus on February 20, 2018 in Fort Collins, CO. Bonnie was born in Gilman City, MO on March 24, 1928 to Bonnifant “BL” and Doris Ray, as one of five children. She lived in Missouri during her childhood and graduated from Gallatin High School in 1946. Bonnie married Robert G. Crockett in 1965 and later moved to Aurora, CO in 1969. She worked for the University of Colorado Health Science Center for 20 years retiring in May 1990. Bonnie and her husband relocated to Fort Collins, CO in March 1997. She loved traveling, experiencing new things, spending time with friends and family, and appreciated coming back home. She was an avid bridge player, playing weekly with her “Bridge Ladies” over many years. She was a devoted Christian and upon moving to Fort Collins was welcomed into the Heart of the Rockies Church community who became a part of her extended family.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Bob Crockett; sisters (Imogene Croy and Donna Holbrook); brothers (William and Jimmy Ray); son in-law, Glen Foland and granddaughter Jenni’s husband, Dan Romero. Bonnie is survived by her two daughters, Janet Foland of Fort Collins, CO and Rita Brown (Stephen) of Lake St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren David Brown of Sacramento, CA, Laurie Neubert (Chris) of Arden, NC, Jenni Foland of Highlands Ranch, CO and Randy Foland (Jamie) of Fairbanks, AK; and six great-grandchildren (Cameron and Sydney Foland-Romero, Isabella and Hannah Foland, Leo and Max Neubert).
The family would especially like to thank all the staff and caregivers at Home Instead Senior Care, Morning Star Senior Living and Pathways Hospice of Northern Colorado for the loving care and support provided to Bonnie.
