Condolences, Eddie, to you and your family. Carmen will be missed and never forgotten. I'll miss attending our Stitch group with her, as well as playing golf with her in our Ladies 9 Hole Golf League. We certainly had a lot of fun together. She was an awesome and talented friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Carmen's death. She was such a kind and cheerful person who loved her family very much. It was a privilege to know her. I think of her every time that I use the little panda shopping bag that she gave to me. She will be greatly missed. Mary O'Brien

Eddie, my prayers are with you. My heart is heavy...SO SAD, but glad that Carmen is no longer in pain. There are so many good memories of time spent with Carmen. I remember her smile and a twinkle in her eye. She loved her family so much. I remember how devoted she was to making sure her father was taken care of and comfortable in his old age. She was so creative. I was so impressed with the creativity and love she put into making quilts from her mother's clothing. She made several, each unique, to share with her brother's and sisters. I loved her obsession with Pandas. Mine is with frogs (long story). For one of my birthdays, celebrated at our stitch group, she made the cutest frog cupcakes. I was honored that she would do that! Carmen blessed our family with many wonderful, homemade gifts...gifts from the heart. Her kindness and spirit will never be forgotten.
Sending love and prayers for all those who loved her as well. Donna Reinke

Carmen was such a kind, sweet and caring soul. Her Wednesday stitch group will always remember her and miss her presence. She fought so bravely for the last four years. She is at peace now but still watching over all of her family and friends

To Eddy, Matt, and all of Carmen's family,
I want to offer my deepest sympathy for your loss of Carmen. She was my "right-hand-woman" when I was department head of Microbiology.
