Carolyn Bodkin McGinnes

Carolyn was born on October 14, 1945 in Summit, New Jersey to Bernard and Carolyn Bodkin. She grew up in Warren Twsp, New Jersey and graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School. She graduated from University of Maryland with a B.S. There, she was a member of Alpha Phi sorority. She was employed for many years in the IT industry

Carolyn married Rodney Darrel McGinnes on August 8, 1981 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Together they lived in Warren and River Edge, New Jersey; New York, New York; San Francisco, Sausalito, and Mill Valley, California; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Fort Collins, Timnath, and Granby, Colorado; and Valliant, Oklahoma.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoyed quilting, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling. She visited all 50 US states and 32 countries.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Rodney Darrel McGinnes; her children Jerry, Laura, and Julie McGinnes; stepsons Rodney (Lisa) and Michael (Ruth) McGinnes; grandchildren Zachary Ketelsen, Zaine McGinnes, and Faith Box; and siblings Karen (Bill) Apgar and Brian Bodkin.
