Catherine "Cathy" Soehnlein

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Cathy will be remembered as a sweet and truly thoughtful woman with a gentle spirit, a big heart and a beautiful smile. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Born April 19, 1950, Cathy grew up in Livonia, Michigan. She was the eldest of 10 children. Cathy was preceded in death by two of her children, Jeffery and Sarah. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jeff Soehnlein, daughter Rebecca Thomas (Dusten), 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her living siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cathy created a warm home that was always decorated to perfection. She worked in business offices as a secretary, surely keeping everyone in line. Cathy and Jeff were franchisees of four Little Caesars stores in Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado, where Cathy provided the accounting and payroll support for their business.

Cathy leaves behind a legacy of kindness. She touched many lives as she reached out to family and friends with cards and love. Cathy was a loyal Catholic who practiced her faith daily. She was kindhearted, loved her family, and always had a bright cheerful smile.

Services will be held for Cathy on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at St. John's Catholic Church in Loveland. The Rosary will be prayed at 10am and Cathy's Memorial Mass will take place at 11am. A luncheon will follow.
