

Charlie lived in Bronx, New York until he was 8 years old, then later moved to the Alexandria, Virginia until 2015. He graduated from Bishop Ireton High School, Alexandria, Virginia in 1972.
Charlie married Pamela Critchlow September 8, 1979 in Alexandria, Virginia.
Charlie worked for the U.S. Secret Service for 42 years. He was on the White House police force for 3 years then worked in communications and securities. He retired in 2015.
He moved to Loveland, Colorado in 2015.
Charlie was a devout Catholic. He loved his Goldwing motorcycles, and loved watching sports, especially the Redskins and the Yankees. He was a very talented cook.
He was preceded in death by mother and brother, Kevin.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Pam Dobratz; children, Jennifer (Matthew) Brown of San Diego, California, Charles Richard (Crystal) Dobratz of Pasadena, Maryland, Eric Robert Dobratz of Loveland, Colorado; brothers, Stephen Dobratz of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mark (Lori) Dobratz of Woodbridge, Virginia; grandchildren, Ainsley Jane Brown, Clarke Elizabeth Brown, Norah Tenzing Brown and expecting another little one in April.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 10th at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, Fort Collins; reception will be held immediately following service at the Uhrich residence, 4515 Lone Tree Drive, Loveland, Colorado 80537.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made to Pathways Hospice Care Center and mailed to Debbie Uhrich at 4515 Lone Tree Drive, Loveland, Colorado 80537.
