

Charles, a retired accountant, had lived in Colorado since the passing of his wife, June H. Pauley in 2013.
After serving in the Korean War, Chuck went on to earn a B.S. in education, and Master’s Degree in Accounting, and also became a Certified Public Accountant. He worked for U.S. Steel, Bessemer Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad as an auditor while living in Pittsburgh, PA. Later he taught business and accounting at Gannon University’s Erie, PA campus.
Over the years, Charles various church activities included service as Deacon, an Elder, singing in the choir and always active in The Gideons organization. He also very much enjoyed playing on the senior’s softball league, the Erie Codger’s. In addition, he volunteered as a language coach for immigrants to the U.S.A. Chuck was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers sports teams, no matter where he lived.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 56 years, June, as well as his two daughters, Rebecca and Ruthe. He is survived by:
Son, Daniel (wife, Samantha)
Son-in-law, Randy (widower of Ruthe)
Four granddaughters: Danielle (husband, Andrew), Elise, Melissa (husband, Mitchell), and Amanda
Five great-grandchildren: Andrew, Hunter, Adalynn, Cohen & Teddy
A Celebration of Life for Chuck will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 10th, 2025 at Good Samaritan Water Valley Windsor, CO Assisted Living Facility.
