Cherie was born on March 19, 1930 in Albion, Michigan. She lived there throughout her childhood and graduated from high school in Albion. Cherie met the love of her life and married Guy Haggard on March 17, 1951. Guy’s job with Dow Chemical Agriculture products brought the Haggard family to Fort Collins in 1966 where Cherie stayed at home and raised their 3 children.
Cherie is survived by her daughters Pam Kaufman (Alan), Diane Lujan (Robert) from Fort Collins and Marc Haggard (Tamara) of Grand Junction. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service was held Saturday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at Allnutt Drake Chapel, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins.
