Like Sheryl Ritterbush, Cloetta gave me opportunities early in my career that helped me advance to new positions. She was funny, kind, energetic, and believed in team building. She led a well-lived life with many wonderful experiences across the country. Rest in peace, Cloetta.

Donnetta, thank you so much for sending me the remembrance card for Cloetta. How lucky were you to have such a caring and giving big sister.
I'm still in shock as I'm sure you and your sons are as well, I would love to hear from you about her last days. She was totally a great friend to me. Mary Dahl, phone 404.432.0233.

Cloetta had such a big heart, which she used as well as her head. Was a pleasure to get to know her a bit when I facilitated the RMRS Leadership Team. She was a gem and the world is just a bit dimmer with her passing - something we all can strive to live up to. Rest in peace.

Cloetta believed in me and gave me a chance to transfer up to Sheridan with the FS even though my application was horrible and the others on the panel didn't want to hire me. She mentored me and gave me many opportunities to build a career. She was also a very kind, compassionate friend.

She brought her nephews and niece up to the Bighorns to camp with my husband and I and our two daughters. We had a wonderful time together.

She will be missed by me and my family.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was saddened by the news of Cloetta's passing. I have so much respect for this amazing woman. She mentored me in my career and made sure to use her as a reference. I will never forget her kindness and joy she brought to RMRS Admin Team. She would send us the kindest, heartfelt cards to make sure we knew we were appreciated. Luckily while on my detail in Colorado, she and others were brightened by her presence for a fun lunch date. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be missed by many,

I honestly never thought we would become such close friends by way we started out. I met Cloetta my first day working for the Bureau of Land Management in Casper, WY. Maybe a year or so later she moved to Buffalo, WY, and on to bigger and better jobs. Years later, I found her on Facebook, and we rekindled our friendship. This time it was much better. We had both done some growing up. 😉 She became a very dear friend of mine. 😔 And one who I will forever miss. 😭💔 I'm sending her family my deepest sympathy and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Cloetta's passing and for your loss. She was a wonderful friend and co-worker during our time together on the PSICC in Pueblo, CO.
On the day of her passing, I was remembering how she planned a surprise b'day party for me when my boys were about 4 years old. She bought a Barbie table covering, decorations and cake. Also, KFC for our dinner. My sons helped her decorate and they were so excited! It was a very special day and memory.
That was a very kind thing for her to do and shows her big heart. We remained phone friends for many years.

My condolences on the passing of Cloetta. It was sad to hear the news. She was my supervisor for several years prior to her retirement from the Rocky Mtn. Research Station. She was always pushing me to become the best version of myself while making sure I took plenty of time for my family. Also, enjoyed many conversations about life in general with her over the years.

I had the pleasure of working with Cloetta on the Pike and San Isabel National Forests and Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands in Pueblo, CO and to my delight, again when I got my job at the Rocky Mountain Research Station in Fort Collins, CO. After retirement, I enjoyed joining her and another friend for lunch from time to time to catch up.

Cloetta was always kind, very compassionate and just a great person overall. I will miss her.

My deepest condolences to the family, you've lost someone very special.
