Connie Sue Hall

She is survived by her son, Troy Hall (Holly Anderson), daughter Amanda (David) Waldo, and Steve Roberts and Jenna Lewis, along with her sister-in-laws, Pat and Marla, and their families. She was Grammi to Dawson and Brayden, and Alexis and Colton, who were everything to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brother Steve, cherished husband Ted, and two brother’s in law, Jack and Ron Hall.

Born Connie Wake, Oct. 31, 1950, at Lutheran Hospital in Columbus, NE, to Bill and Helen Wake (Anderson), Connie and her brother Steve grew up in Genoa, NE, enjoying their extended family gatherings at their grandparents’ home. Graduating from Genoa High School in 1969, Connie enjoyed her school years and as a part of many different activities including cheerleading, yearbook editor, and nominated homecoming and prom queen.

After moving to Fort Collins, CO, Connie met the love of her life, Ted D. Hall Sr., to whom she married May 24, 1980, at Christ United Methodist Church. They welcomed their son Troy in 1983, and then daughter Amanda in 1985. Ted and Connie spent their years at their west Fort Collins home imparting on their kids their love of life, sports, camping and boating at places like Seminoe, Lake Powell, and Wellington Lake #3, tailgating and cheering on the CSU Rams and Denver Broncos, and through many extended family gatherings. Connie especially loved cheering on her kids and grandkids at softball, volleyball, football and basketball games, as well as playing in darts and bowling leagues herself. Travel was also a highlight of the family, with special trips made to the Annual Las Vegas National Dart Competitions, and trips to Florida and the Bahamas, Moab, Lake Powell, and Lake Havasu with their whole extended family and many friends over the years.

Life wasn’t all about recreation to Connie, however, she was a loyal and hardworking Media Technician at Poudre School District for 35 years, where she made lifelong friends. After retiring from the PSD, Connie worked in the office for her daughter and son-in-law’s family business, Arrowhead Service, in Wellington.

If you knew Connie, you knew she was a steady influence to everyone in her life, a cheerleader in not only high school, but also to everyone in her friend and family circle. She had a supernatural pain tolerance, even through her cancer battles, and was always up for a good time!

Connie will be interned beside her beloved husband, a U.S. Navy Veteran, in a private family service at Fort Logan National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service is being planned and information will be updated with dates and times of the services at www.allnuttftcollins.com.
