Craig was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Construction Administration. He spent most of his career managing projects, with companies such as Hospital Building & Equipment, Pike Construction and Kodak Alaris.
He served as president for many years of the Fort Collins Municipal Railway and more recently enjoyed his volunteer work at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. Craig loved traveling throughout the world and planned to continue doing so. He had a lifelong interest in Formula 1 racing and railroads.
Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Debra. He is survived by his sister Karla in Wisconsin, his brother Doug (Janet) of New Hampshire, and his nephew Zachary of New York City.
