Cynthia Kay Elliott, a cherished resident of Timnath, Colorado, passed away on March 28, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in West Virginia on September 5, 1947, she was the daughter of Norman and Betty Weichman.
Cynthia spent most of her career in consulting within the medical industry. She was particularly passionate about being a stem cell consultant in Cord Blood. Her work took her around the world, including to Singapore, Europe, Amsterdam, and Doha, where she made lasting contributions to her profession.
Beyond her career, Cynthia had a love for travel, which she shared with her sister, Kathryn. Together, they created countless memories, exploring new places and attending concerts and events, including a memorable trip to Atlanta to see Jimmy Buffett. Cynthia was also an avid gardener who found joy in flowers and the beauty of nature.
She is survived by her sister, Kathryn Weichmann; her nephew, Hunter Shepherd; her niece, Kirstin (Darren) Szot; her great-niece, Payton Szot; and her great-nephew, Griffin Szot. Cynthia’s family and many friends will miss her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and her deep love for life.
Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Sunny Side Living in Timnath, CO, especially to Karen, who provided exceptional care for Cynthia.
