Darlene Ruth McCune, 85, of Loveland, passed away on July 18, 2010 at The Villas at Sunny Acres in Thornton. She was born on March 19, 1925, in Hastings, NE, to Henry H. and Alice (Meyer) Adler. In 1943, she married William McCune. They resided in Hastings, NE, and moved to Colorado in 1959. She worked for Duckwalls in Northglenn and also at JCPenney in Northglenn and Fort Collins for many years. Darlene was very family oriented and made friends everywhere she went. People will remember Darlene for her vibrant energy and her loyalty to family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2005. She is survived by her children, Donna K. Hill, Ronald L. McCune, Rhonda J. Palin, Bruce A. McCune, and JoLynn Bloom. She is also survived by many grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens.
