Darrell Carl Walker

Darrell “Skip” Walker passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on November 16, 1944 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Gladys Crook Walker and Carl Walker, a welcome addition to a family of four girls. He met the love of his life, Linda Jones and her children Leigh Ann and Michael in Loveland, Colorado. They were married on May 22, 1976. Skip was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Maxine Henery and Joan Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Leigh Ann Parciasepe; son, Michael Jones and his wife Michelle; daughter Mechelle Slider; grandchildren, Dominic Parciasepe, Alexa Parciasepe, Andrew Slider and Samantha Slider; sisters, Lois Babcock and her husband Rev. Wayne Babcock and Wilma Taylor. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, Fort Collins, CO. A Celebration of Life will follow, all are welcome, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Collins Elks Lodge, 1429 E. Mulberry Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CSU Athletic Department or the Fort Collins Elks Lodge, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
