Dawn R. Duncan of Fort Collins passed away on September 12, 2009 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.She was born on August 1, 1966 in Houston, TX to Donnie I. and Beverly (Higgins) Mills. She had been a resident of Fort Collins since 2007 and attended the Vineyard Church.Dawn was a very intelligent person who spoke her mind to all. She liked to write poems, loved to cook, enjoyed roller skating and dancing and had a heart of gold. Although she loved children and wanted children of her own, she was unable to have any. She is survived by her parents, Don and Bev Mills of Fort Collins; brothers, Daniel Brayton of Kearney, NE, Jeremy Brayton of Lincoln, NE, and Aaron (Lea) Brayton of Columbus, NE; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and much-loved nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery Mills in 2006.Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. â?? 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
