I want to express want an honor it was and is to serve your family, I have only know your family for a short while even though my God father Louie is Richards uncle, but in that short time I can witness to the love within your family for your family. Della was such a wonderful person.  She always had a smile on her face.  She was great at the job she did and made people feel at ease.  We will miss her at McKee.

Della and I would run into each other in the cafeteria.  While we would wait our turn for the microwave, we would share our lives.  Della was one of the first people I told about my date with my boyfriend that I had met on a dating website.  I was very nervous and Della chatted with me.  She helped relieve my anxiety.  We have been together now for 4 years.  I will miss Della.  She is a wonderful woman!  I am sorry for your loss.

Della was a delight. McKee was a better place when she was present.  She always had a smile and cheerful greeting.  She will be greatly missed.  Ardis Fowler

I spent years speaking with Della on the phone before I had the pleasure of meeting her. I already felt close to her by then, but having the chance to experience her wonderful smile made me love her even more! She will be deeply missed

I have known Della for quite some time. I feel honored to have known such a wonderful, sweet, kind hearted woman. Miss Della always had a smile not only on her face but also in her warm kind eyes and her warm kind heart. She had a compassion for life and everyone in her life wheather it was her family at home or her family here at work. Right down to the compassion she had for patients. Thank you Miss Della for your ever lasting smiles, acts of compassion and kindness. We need more Miss Della's in this world. You will be greatly missed. The Lord has another wonderful angel to watch over all of us.

I was personally touched by Della's stories of faith, compassion for others and her deep grace as she gave away angels.  My office was near Della's and over the years we visited in the halllway. many, many times.  Della impacted many of us in such real ways.  She will be missed by me, our patients and the McKee family

Della walked by my desk every day on her way into work. She never failed to greet me with her wonderful smile. She was such a kind soul. We shared many grandkid stories. Whenever she made tamales I was first in line to get some for my family. She touched the lives of many. I for one will never forget my friend.

Dear family,
On behalf fo the McKee Foundation Board of Directors and Foundaiton staff we wish to express our condolences for your loss of our friend and colleague, Della. She was a delight to know and a special person to work with. Always ready with a smile, and always with a happy greeting, she never failed to say hello whether we were in the hallways of McKee or in the cafeteria. She will be truly missed; she was a special personality here at McKee.

I never saw a patient leave Della's office with anything but a smile. She worked in a challenging area, but treated with each person with dignity, respect and compassion. Della will be greatly missed me and all of McKee!

I have only known Della a short time but we did connect.  We had so much in common.  We laughed and talked about how much fun she would have after retirement, she was so looking forward to it.  We talked about our families, cooking and so much more.  She was a wonderful woman, generous, loving and faithful.  My condolences to her family and friends.

From the very first time I met Della I instantly loved her.  She had an infectious giggle and a smile that lit up the room.  The love she had radiated from her to everyone around her.  My heart goes out to her wonderful husband and children and grandchildren.  I know the hole she has left is immense.

Della was a kind lovely lady.  She always had a smile and I feel fortunate  to have known her. She will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
