

Born in Barrington, New Jersey, Diane was the daughter of Andrew Sari and Alice Dorsey. Diane graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1970 and received her BA in Art Education from Glassboro State College (now Rowan College of Burlington County) in 1974. She also received her Master’s Degree from Lesley College.
After starting her teaching career in New Jersey, Diane moved to Greeley, Colorado, where she taught for 30 years at John Evans Junior High and at Greeley West High School. She had a passion for teaching, connecting with people, and loving others for all her life.
Surviving are her son, Shane Miles, of Fort Collins, CO (Kaitlin Miles); her brother, Robert (Bob) Sari of High Point, NC (Shelby Sari); her nieces, Andrea and Jennifer; her nephews, Gregory and Robert; and her two grandsons, Landon and Sawyer.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Craig Cacciola, and her brother, Gregory Sari.
A memorial service for Diane will be held at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church (1005 Stover Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524) on March 27th, 2026.
