Donna Jean Bryant

Donna Jean Bryant, 70, of LaPorte, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. Born in Fort Collins, she was the beloved daughter of Wilbur E. and Betty V. Johnson, who preceded her in death. After graduating from Poudre High School in 1973, Donna built a career in banking before following her true calling of caring for children by opening her own in-home daycare, where she touched the lives of many families for years.

After retiring, Donna dedicated her time to her family, especially her four grandsons, whom she nurtured and adored. She loved sharing quiet mornings on the porch with her husband, sipping coffee, and enjoyed exploring the world with him and their loved ones. Donna loved Timberline Church, where she volunteered with the MOPS group, guiding mothers to strengthen bonds with their children through Christ.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Michel; daughters, Stacy (Michael) Murphy and Kerri (David) Bureker, both of Colorado; grandsons, Caiden and Gavin Murphy of LaPorte, and Bryant and Braxton Bureker of Erie; sisters, Linda Johnson and Sharon Bottoms of Fort Collins; brother, Ron Johnson of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania; and mother-in-law, Marie Bryant of LaPorte.

A memorial service for Donna will be held on Tuesday, October 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Rd., Fort Collins, CO 80525, with a reception to follow.
