Doris Kamerzell

Doris Kamerzell, 82, died on February 17, 2010 at her home. She was born on August 15, 1927 in Craig, CO, to Clarence Lee and Harriet (Mills) Gardner. She graduated from Cache La Poudre High School in 1945 and had lived in the Fort Collins and Loveland area her entire life. She married Herbert Kamerzell on Nov 17, 1946 in Fort Collins.She worked as a waitress at the Silver Grill and worked as an operator and bookkeeper at Sedar Plastics until she retired in 1987. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Gary Kamerzell; 2 brothers, Harold and Donald; and sister, Zelda Harper.She is survived by a son, Keith Kamerzell and wife Vivian of Fort Collins; a daughter, Marsha Tintes and Randy Chestnut of Loveland; a brother, Keith Gardner of Brighton; a sister, Ruby Irick of Craig; 4 grandchildren Zachary Kamerzell and Niki Baumann, Casey Kamerzell, Lauren (John) Boerger, Bradley (Angel Niccoli) Kamerzell; a step-grandson, Greg Glison; and great-grandchildren, Madison and Jackson Boerger. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Private inurnment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
